Conducted research workshops and tours for area high school groups. Regional workshop for area school librarians and high school teachers about what research skills high school students need to develop for college.

Developed a presentation for the NW Ohio Education Library Media Specialists Association (OELMA). The presentation included information about library research and necessary technical skills for incoming students, and what high school teachers and library media specialists can do to assist in making the transition to college successful.

The Great Lakes Vessel Database serves as an index tool to our collection of more than 100,000船舶图像. The items in the database have been made available for use in research, teaching, and private study.  Items from the collection have been used in books, television & radio productions, documentaries, museum exhibits, and underwater archaeological studies.

伊丽莎白聪明, who was abducted as a teen and held captive for nine months, spoke at the BGSU 大学图书馆’ new 平凡的人，不平凡的博天堂官方 series.  她的演讲中提到了《我的博天堂官方》,” the title of her newly released memoir about how she survived and forged a new life after her abduction. 近1000名学生和社区成员参加了Ms. 斯玛特对波士顿州立大学的访问. 

课程资源中心 participation in the Literacy in the Park event

Partnership between the BGSU College of Education and Human Development, School of Teaching and 学习 and the Martha Gesling Weber Reading Center. The focus of Literacy in the Park is to address all of the different ways literacy is important in our lives. The 课程资源中心 provides an activity that engages children in using an Ellison die cut machine and book jackets to create one of a kind bookmarks.

STEM in the Park is a family day hands-on fun at 州立鲍灵格林大学 featuring a free lunch, take-home STEM activities and hands-on interactive displays and activities. The 课程资源中心 participates by sharing science materials from our collection with curious children.

课程资源中心 story time for summer camp participants

The Recreation and Wellness Kids Camp program provides participants with fun experiences that empower physical, 情感, 社会, 智力增长.  The Jerome Library was part of the walking field trips in which themed story time was offered to children age 5-12 by the 工作人员 of the 课程资源中心.

CRC hosted a Penta High School student through the Penta Campus Works program  

Penta Career Center provides services to students with special needs. The CRC partnered with Penta to train a Penta student to do library work. 儿童权利委员会和Penta都从这一经验中受益.
