Cadets in the Air Force ROTC program find that the Air Force ROTC 学习 Community is an ideal opportunity to make friends quickly and form strong bonds with other cadets while still being part of the diverse community. Community members have the option to live with other ROTC cadets in 麦当劳大厅, which allows members to share common experiences in and out of the classroom.

Air Force ROTC 学习 Community students have the opportunity to live in a diverse population in 麦当劳大厅 along with other highly ambitious and motivated students who are members of other 学习社区. 学生工作, live and hangout together to ease the transition to college life, while supporting each other throughout the ROTC program.

学生 who are members of the Air Force ROTC 学习 Community are 不 required to live within the community but it is an added benefit to the program. If you choose to live in the community, you can choose to room with someone who is 一个成员 of the program -or- you can choose a roommate who is 不 一个成员.
麦当劳大厅
Centrally located and steps away from the Bowen-Thompson学生会 and the Jerome Library, 麦当劳大厅 is a traditional residence hall and houses classrooms and faculty/staff offices. Amenities include an art studio, 音乐教室, 博天堂官方网站区域, 计算机实验室, laundry on each floor and a full community kitchen.
如何申请
Each community has a set of residence hall rooms specifically designated for them. To sign up for one of these rooms, 你必须申请, and be accepted into the community, 4月25日之前, 2018. To ensure your chance to live in the community, please complete the following steps:
- Complete your housing application
- 应用在这里 and login with your BGSU username and password
- 点击 Add a New Community Enrollment Request and choose your desired community and academic year/term
Please Note: 学生 can apply only for two communities on their own. If you want to apply to more than two communities, please contact the additional communities you are interested in so they can apply for you. If you have applied for two and change your mind, go into the system and withdraw yourself from the one(s) you are no longer interested in. This will open up a space for you again.
After you have submitted your request to join a community, you will receive an email from the community director approving your request. When it’s time for you to select your room in the next phase, you will be able to view and select rooms within the designated community space in the community’s residence hall. 例如, if you choose to join the 查普曼学习社区, you will select a room in Kohl Hall.
