Math and Statistics

The Schmidthorst College of Business provides coaches to assist its students for all math courses as well as BA 2110, 2120, 2200, 6010, OR 3800. Coaches are BGSU graduate students in the department of Applied Statistics and Operations 博天堂官方网站, and can help you fill in conceptual gaps to maximize your chance for academic success.

Stop by the Math and Stats 训练 Center in 毛雷尔中心 105 during the academic year for your coaching needs. 

The University also provides tutors to assist its students in a wide range of courses including almost all undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses. These services are hosted by the Learning Commons on the first floor of the William T Jerome Library.

In addition to the above resources, Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders are assigned to BA1600/1700 and MATH 1280. Previous students who have excelled in these courses are selected to attend each class. Peer-led study sessions are regularly scheduled for the students to attend.

辅导 Schedule:

Check with the 会计 and Information Systems in 241K 毛雷尔中心 for locations and times. 会计 tutoring is offered by α Psi, a student organization. They provide tutoring for students taking accounting classes of any level.

The Financial 管理 Society (FMS), a student organization, offers tutoring every semester for students in FIN 3000. Bloomberg Certificate 辅导 is also available. Check with the 金融 Department in 240C 毛雷尔中心 for locations and times.

Business Writing Assistance

学生 can go to the BGSU Learning Commons on the first floor of Jerome Library to receive coaching on their writing assignments. Hours vary each semester.
